Strike Magazine: Issue 05

The Five Senses. My proudest work to date.

In August of 2022, I began my work as an Art Director for Strike Magazine Orlando. Shoes I was unsure if I could fill, until I began the work and fell in love.

My duties as Art Director is to look over all layouts and design choices made, in order to provide a unique feel for each spread while still keeping the entire magazine cohesive. Following the visions of my Creative Director, working hand-in-hand to utilize the assets of my entire team.

For this Issue of Strike Magazine Orlando, we wanted to highlight the beauties and nuances of the five senses, while incorporating design elements and theories.

I chose to focus on the use of negative space and color theory, allowing the color story to shine throughout the issue by keeping the layout and texts simple yet conclusive.
